corresponding to a Pipe OD Range that covers the Pipe OD
to be tapped and then specify the desired branch size.
EXAMPLE: 16"
Asbestos-Cement Class 150 O.D. 18.72 with 8 inch Branch.
Order 3490AS or 3490CS -18H x 8.
The manufacturing standard
for the Connecting Flange Joint Between Tapping Sleeves
and Tapping Valves, MSS-SP60 only covers sizes 2 inch
through 12 inch.
Therefore, specify the
Tapping Valve manufacturer when ordering sleeves with 14
inch and larger outlets.
