Measuring with an O.D. Tape

O.D. Tapes measure in 1/100th of an inch increments

1. Wrap the O.D. Tape tightly around the pipe or tubing with the Zero indicator facing you

2. Match the Zero indicator on the tape with the corresponding number above it on the other part of the tape

3. The outside diameter (O.D.) of the copper tubing below shows 4.13" inches
