Have you ever needed to replace a worn-out inline valve? It may be stuck open or have a small leak. There are times when you just can’t shut down or drain the system, but you need to replace the valve. Do you have a leaking saddle tee that needs to be replaced? Line Stopping allows you to block off the water on one side or two so you can remove a section of bad pipe or a stuck valve and replace it and then resume service without a major interruption. You complete a Hot Tap through the line stop saddle or sleeve, then use the Qualitech line stop machine to block off the water while the repair is being done. You then remove the line stop machine, insert a plug and cap and you are back in business.
